Moldavite (Czech Republic), 15 million years old. Sand-cast in heavy gauge .925 sterling silver. The stone survived the metal pour — rare, since thermal shock cracks moldavite 99% of the time. The silver flowed around it, leaving a natural opening that lets light through the gem.
